Retail Policies

ORDERING
All major credit cards are now accepted online at judiegumm.com. You can also order by U.S mail and pay with personal check (allow an additional 7 days for bank clearance) or money orders. Please don't forget to add the postage as it will delay your order!

For online order security, we do not save your credit card information electronically or otherwise. When you check out using our secure shopping cart, your information is immediately encrypted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and an additional Secure, Encrypted Messaging Protocol" (SCMP) submitted directly to an FDIC approved and backed banking institution. Three additional levels of security are then implemented to best protect your privacy.

GUARANTEE/RETURNS
If you are not totally pleased with our jewelry for any reason (no questions asked) simply return to us within 30 days for a full refund minus the freight charge. Our jewelry is guaranteed against defective workmanship and materials for one year from the date of purchase.

REPAIR
We will be happy to repair any of our jewelry for a nominal fee or free if it is due to a flaw in the piece. If returned items are improperly shipped and damage occurs, there will be a repair charge. We will do our best to restore your jewelry. We understand there can be sentimental value but it may not be possible to restore it to a new condition because tarnish has been allowed to build up. So, if you lose an earring, don't let the survivor languish in a drawer; send it back and we'll match it up and charge you half the cost of a set.

14K GOLD
All jewelry is available in 14K white or yellow gold. Please call for a price quote.

LEAD FREE
We use only lead free metal in all of our jewelry designs.

EARRING
All posts, earnuts and french hooks are made of sterling, gold-fill, or niobium. Niobium is a hypo-allergenic metal which comes in the following colors: fuchsia, purple, green and navy blue. Many designs can be made with clip-ons at an additional cost of $6. All earrings can be purchased as singles at 50% of the cost plus a $2 set up fee. They can also be ordered as a combination hook/post for the same price.

SPECIAL ORDERS
If you see a design you like, but I do not offer it the way you would like it—for example, you want a bracelet instead of a pendant—just ask!

GIFT WRAP
We'll wrap, include your message and only charge $4.00 per item.

PACKAGING
All jewelry is carded and gift boxed, including a biographical card with care instructions.

STONES
All the stones in our line are natural with the exeception of two stones. Therefore their colors and inclusions might vary slightly. The exceptions are Red Jade and Red Horn which are dyed.

PEARLS
The pearls used are called freshwater or sweetwater pearls. They are "cultured," which means that the mollusks that grew them were implanted or seeded by humans. Practically all pearls sold today are cultured. Your pearls are most likely products of China or Japan.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Sterling: When not being worn, store separately in a plastic bag. Clean with a jewelry quality silver cleaner available through us or your local jewelry store. (Do not use a dip-style cleaner on oxidized pieces.) For quick cleaning while traveling, an old toothbrush and a bit of toothpaste works wonders.
• Gold: When not being worn, store separately in a plastic bag. Clean with a jewelry quality silver cleaner or polishing cloth available through us or your local jewelry store. (Do not use a dip-style cleaner.)
• Gold Plate: It should not tarnish and will retain its fine finish when stored separately in a plastic bag and cleaned with water and a soft dry cloth.
• Bronze: Brighten your bronze jewely by rubbing with a soft cloth lightly moistened with Scott's Liquid Gold.
• Pewter: Pewter needs very little care but because it is a very soft metal please store it in the small ziplock bag provided. It will slightly oxidize with age.
