The Wolf spirit is one of stealth, shadow and intelligence. It is a devout warrior against its chronic enemy of hunger. In the heavy timber it can move with ghostly quietude; noiseless and imperceptible, as if it were already in its next existence. Numbering about 50,000 the Alaskan Wolf remains one of the dominant predators in their wilderness stronghold.
